What Senior Year had to Offer

Senior year was definitely the year I have been looking forward to the most. I have been trying to prepare for this year ever since i was in elementary school. However, you really can’t prepare for something like this.
When I was younger, I had a naive view of what high school was going to be. All the movies that I had watched, Mean Girls, High School Musical 1, 2, and 3, had all lied to me. Even Lemonade Mouth had given me unrealistic expectations.
Where was the singing? Where was the choreography? Where was the detention jam out? The drama? Well actually, the drama was very similar to that of the movies. I wasn’t disappointed there.
Some say that by season 4, shows end up being terrible. I agree, but not my season 4. Season 4 was the best season yet.
So here’s a highlight reel:
I dropped my phone 673 times this year
Stepped in 8 pieces of gum this year
Slept past my alarm everyday
Walked into approximately every table at this school
Have almost been run over everyday
In all seriousness, high school was a blast and a year that I will never forget. I made a lot of friends and lost a few along the way but, made memories that I won’t forget with every single one of them.
I did so many things this year that I never knew I would do. I learned so much from the people around me. To be honest nobody asked but that won’t stop me from writing about it.
I came late into TPAA later in high school. It was definitely an experience leaving one school for another and it was hard adjusting to everything new. However, I know that if I was given the choice, I would do it all over again.
As the ups and downs came and went, like any show, my season has come to a close. Just like High School Musical 3, the curtains have closed and I am ready for my series finale.
