A small disclaimer before I begin. This article may contain Endgame spoilers so, for those who haven’t watched it yet, I would suggest coming back to this later.

The end has long been anticipated and a while ago, it finally arrived.

On April 26th, Avengers: Endgame was officially released to theaters. On its opening weekend, it made $1.2 billion worldwide according to Vox.

The movie begins right after the emotional final events in Infinity War. It follows the last of the Avengers and showcases where they ultimately ended up. As the movie progresses, Scott Lang makes a return and subsequently begins the main plot of the movie.

That of which being, assembling all the remaining Avengers and locating Thanos. All of which is in the hopes to use the gauntlet to bring back the people he had killed. They end up being successful however, not without a few unfortunate sacrifices.

The movie contains a lot of action, which for an action movie isn’t so surprising. It also contains more somber tones and many moments that invoke a few tears.

In general, the three hour long movie does what it was meant to do well. It was meant to pull together a finale, and a finale it gave. Although it left quite a few fans upset over the people they lost and the ones who weren’t able to live the happiest of endings.

The story may seem as though it is over but, Spider-Man: Far From Home arrives in theaters on July 2nd. This movie follows the events of Endgame and will show the consequences of those events. I am sure, as all Marvel movies go, it will be just as good as the last.
