We know Mrs. Gray as the woman on campus who can get the job done, be a great mentor, and a great former teacher. However, what you probably didn’t know was her obsession with fitness!

She won second place at her national physique bikini competition and here at the Griffin Gazette, we couldn’t be more proud. But what goes into training as serious as this? I had to find out.

She started by working with a friend with meal planning as well as workout plans. She managed to have variety overtime with her meals and started trying new workouts every Sunday. She now workouts 6-7 times a week,

“The gym truly is my therapy.” Gray says. “It gives me a chance for ‘me time’ and drenches me in swear but it ultimately makes me feel great.”

Mrs. Gray’s next competition is the figure competition in October. She thinks she’ll like this competition more because it’ll include the building of the muscles instead of shredding them down. We congratulate her and her accomplishments and can’t wait what she has in store for the future.
