What Happens Once In A Red Moon

Tpaa’s 2019 prom was one to remember. For the past few weeks, students have been raving about prom and it did not disappoint our expectations.

Once the buses reached the venue, students entered into the building and were greeted with a grand staircase. Students immediately took out their phones and started capturing the beginning moments to an amazing night.

With the night just beginning, we were shortly served our meals, which everyone seemed to highly enjoy. The menu consisted of beef, chicken, rice, salad, pasta, and many more side dishes.

This was followed by many students lining up at the photo booth to commemorate the night with the people who were closest to them. While others went onto the balcony and took their own pictures.

To continue the rest of the night, people began to crowd the dance floor. Groups of friends would show off their dance moves to each other, everyone would sing along to the songs, and overall everyone was just having fun. This went on till it was time to announce prom royalty.

All the nominees were called up to the dance floor and groups of people surrounded them with excitement. Prom prince and princess was announced first and our winners were Jeffrey Beberstein and Diana Galeana. The crowd congratulated them by applauding them. Then it was time for them to announce prom king and queen. All the nominees were anxious and holding onto their partner as they waited for the winners to be called.

Our winners for prom king and queen were Daniel Urueta and Neftali Brewster. The crowd jumped in excitement and Daniel’s and Neftali’s friends ran over to them and gave them a huge hug.

As the night was almost over, everyone flooded the dance floor till we had to leave. It seemed like no one wanted the night to end just yet. Unfortunately the time came where we had to go back down the grand staircase and load onto the bus.

This night was unforgettable and all the work prom committee put into the prom did not go unappreciated. Every little detail was perfect and it could not have been a more perfect night.
