After a period of nerve wracking and gut wrenching anticipation the time has now settled. Some are digging in the mailbox scrambling through their parents bills and monthly subscriptions --hoping to find a letter dedicated to them. A letter that can cause among the most eerie and delightful feeling one may face growing as a young adult. Admission decision letters have finally arrived.

Soon to be alumni are now tasked on deciding where they will be committing to from the Universities they were accepted to; perhaps a first step into determining which path they will take toward their future.

Where is the journalism Senior crew heading ?

Genneses Salazar and (Tentatively) Corina Queja are looking to be Titans at Cal State Fullerton.

Aleeya Fitzgerald known for her journalistic skepticism and insight was accepted to Loyola Marymount University

What about the rest of our classmates ?

Elijah Ferman is one student who dedicated much of his high school academics and activities to pursue a career as an architect. He developed his portfolio over years and found success with Southern California institute of Architecture, which is one of the best architecture programs in the Country. Another honorable mention of his was being waitlisted for Cal Poly Pomona.

Although Elijah exclaimed that he is drawn to SCI-Arc and plans to commit there.

Victor Peralta is one who is taking a rather unconventional route. He plans to attend AVC for two years and later Cinema Makeup school located in Los Angeles. He wants to take classes on special effects art to someday work on television and movie sets.

Jerica Lara Was accepted to UC Irvine and plans to commit with her alternate major in criminology

Jessica Lopez had many acceptances with the Cal States she applied to. After careful consideration she has committed to Cal State Fullerton.

Where is the Salutatorian heading to ?

Salutatorian Nicholas Tassinari decided that he will take the results of his hard work to the University of California Santa Barbara.

Nicholas choose UCSB for the beach environment and for its renowned history program.

Rebecca Molina was accepted into CSUN and Cal Channel Islands, but has committed to AVC.

As seems to be a favorable University among our senior class, Daniel Urueta is currently on the waitlist for CSUF and hopes to be admitted. He has been accepted to Cal State Chico and Northern Arizona University.

Jose Malta boast a list of acceptances ranging from New York Institute of Technology and Pennsylvania State. He has decided that he will commit to CSUN.

“ The reasons for my acceptances are my extracurricular and academic achievements, which played a huge part in getting accepted because of the fact they show what type of person I am and how I have the potential to graduate from their institution” (Sic).

To no surprise Jose Malta feels strong about his extracurriculars, considering the amazing contributions he has made to the school being secretary of ASB.

Jeffrey Pope was accepted to UCI, UCR, Pomona, and NAU. He plans to attend UCI.

Some fellow classmates started their college attendance early. Among them is Natalie Martinez.

She currently attends Pasadena City College majoring in Electrical Engineering under a dual enrollment program. Her goal is to acquire an AA to gain early admission to UH Manoa, which is offered in the program. She also does acting and hopes to be featured in films someday

Jeannie Rava was accepted to CSUB, UC Irvine, and UC Riverside. Although she choose to commit to AVC.

Kryssten Becerra has committed to Arizona State University.

Lindsay Onofre worked extremely hard throughout her high school years and found a promising 7 / 8 acceptances in all the colleges she applied to. She was able to be admitted by her dream school UC Berkeley and has committed.

Laysha Rodriguez was accepted to the University of California Los Angeles and promptly committed.

Laura Orozco was accepted to Cal State Channel Islands and plans to acquire a history degree.

Suzie Dayvton was accepted to UCLA as a competitive biology major.

While this article certainly does not capture the success of all classmates. This piece serves to give applause to those who were in range of the publisher . If you know someone who should have been featured please congratulate them. We are gleeful that we are able to commemorate the arts, strives, and accomplishments of our brilliant senior class. Thank you.
