Why Did We Have A Full Day Last Week?

- Back when some of our senior class started at TPAA, our schedule wasn’t like it now is today. We begun Monday off as a full-day, with an even amount of A & B days for the rest of the week. This was normal to us, but upon asking the underclassmen on what they might feel on a schedule like that, it sounds like witchcraft.
This begs the question “Why did we have a full day?” Ms. Price states:
“The all-day was scheduled to ensure that we had the same number of A and B days prior to the start of Spring Break. If we didn't do the all-day, then we would have had an extra A day. We want to keep the A and B days balanced to the extent possible.”
This makes obvious sense as we don’t want to have an unequal amount of study/curriculum time amongst our classes.
This full-day was originally supposed to be on the last day before Spring Break, the 18th. However the date was changed to accommodate Career Day, which was unfortunately cancelled.
This full day seemed to have a mixed review amongst the students. Some absolutely loved it, meanwhile others hated it.
Though it was hard to adapt to a temporary change, there is no doubt it was necessary for our balanced education as TPAA Griffins.
