The number one reason students tend to neglect scholarships is because of what many tend to perceive as surplus “work.” Absurd, it does sound, for there is money to be distributed to the persevering students, as demonstrated by Alexander Feranda, a TPAA senior who was granted $1,000 from the KidsGuard Scholarship program, for simply writing about a personal interest of his; that is cyber-bullying.
“You should definitely apply for scholarships you know a lot about...For me, it was cyber-bullying, and I'm on the internet a lot, so I could put everything I know about that...” (sic), stated the senior when asked what advice he would give to griffins looking towards applying for scholarships.
Scholarships vary from having certain physical features to arguing about the politics and trends in America’s culture. Such allows scholars to compete or win by chance, however expressing their creativity and cognitive process in extensive platforms of subject matter. Hence, no student is left behind from such opportunities as all have the opportunity to shine in their area.
Delusional it is, that the chances of winning are slim. Indeed, thousands abstain their prize-winning passions. The final prize resides in the very few who took the chance to exercise their abilities.
(There are countless websites across the internet offering big money scholarships for high school students).
